A Metal Sign for My Workshop

I am drawn to all the industrial decor right now. I love the use and combination of metal and wood together! I have been wanting to try my hands on a metal sheet project and I finally decided to start with something simple.
We just moved into our new house and I am excited to create a nice workshop for my projects. This was the perfect project to get that process started!
I bought a (affiliate) corrugated metal roofing sheet and cut it down to size using tin snips.
Not show here but I also cut down a 3/4" plywood to 2" wider on each side of the metal sheet.
I Gave the plywood a coat of grey stain and sanded around the edges using my corner sander to create a distressed and worn out look.
I attached the metal sheet to the plywood using metal screws.
Then I transferred letters onto the sheet to write the word "WORKSHOP".
I do not own any fancy cutting machines so I printed out the word in the font of my choice and cut out each letter. Then I traced it on to the sheet using a permanent marker.
Here is the finished product. I really like it! Now I need to find the perfect spot to hang it as soon as I clear up the boxes in the garage.
