My "Under the Kitchen Sink" Makeover

by Linda B
My "under the sink makeover" was long overdue and the difference between the before and the "after" is amazing.
Here is the "BEFORE" picture. I can't believe it was this bad!
I put up a shelf so that I could hang white wire baskets from it to give extra space.
These baskets actually "hang" from the shelf I put in - okay, I had son help me... okay, son put the shelf up. :)
I used an old drawer at the bottom of the cupboard so that I could easily take it right out to clean up.
I put small things in prettied up jars....

Old drawer....where did you get it? I love your ideas - So simple -( even if you have a little help). 😉

I still can’t picture how the baskets hang on the shelf especially in the rear? Are there hooks on the shelf? I wouldn’t ask but it’s such a super idea I want to use it underneath the shelves in my pantry! Are the baskets made special? What am I missing? I’m usually not so confused. I’m sure it’s something so simple I’ll feel foolish when it’s explained! Great job Linda! Jim

Hi Linda, you put together some great ideas there. Love the baskets but not sure If I can do that under my sink because of the dispose all. I will have to check. The idea of using the drawer is great and can be simple to make too. Did you use rollers or small casters to slide in and out easier?? Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Using the old drawer is a great idea, I just happen to have one, hopefully it will fit under the sink, thanks for the inspiration.
