Kitty Litter Jug Equals Free Plant Tags

I sell plants so I was looking for a way to label my plants without having to spend any money-plant tags can get expensive. I didn't have any mini blinds or popsicle sticks around so I went to my recycling bin and this is what I came up with.
This is what you need.
All you need is a kitty litter jug, a sharp pair of scissors, a sharpie or pencil and a plant tag to trace.
Remove the top from the jug.
Cut down the sides.
Cut the bottom off.
Flat sheets
Trace your plant tag on all the flat sheets.
Here is one "sheet I had traced.
Cut them out.
Here they are, not much left to recycle.
If you are like me and are messy-use alcohol to wipe off any excess sharpie so they look neater.
At home in their pots.
They look as good as the plant tags I already have, but better yet they were free. To see more stop by my blog..

I did this and used a sharpie, but it wasn't long before the rain washed the writing away. Have you had that issue?
