I love making these boxes to serve candy, popcorn, or chips! It's quick, easy and great for a BBQ or picnic. Clean up is easy, just throw them away after your done.
I love being able to make these containers to match whatever theme and it only takes a few minutes!
Start with a thick cardstock. I love this yellow print with flowers.
Create a box in the middle of your paper, this will be the bottom. Then draw boxes on the top, bottom, and sides of the center box, these will be the sides of the box. Make sure these boxes have the same measurement in width so they line up. Lastly, you will need to make little flaps on the sides of the boxes you just drew, these will fold over the sides to create the container.
Template of box with measurements
Cut around the outside of the entire shape and fold on the lines. It should start to look like a container!
Fold the side flaps over, if you notice your box isn't quite lining up you may need to trim some of the sides. Once it fits together, staple the flaps to the outside of the box. Repeat this on the other side.
Done!
