FLAT WOODEN CABINETS GET A FARMHOUSE MAKEOVER for About 9.00

After looking high and low for that farmhouse cabinet I decided to create my own. Using a quart of Rustoleum high gloss white, a scraper and a couple of size rulers and allot of time this is what I came up with.
The paint was put on thinly by adding a bit of water then while wet I used a scraper to distress and make the inner wooden slats. NO SANDPAPER WAS USED AT ALL
The cabinets were a gingerbread color to start with. I also did the stencil/spackling previously.
The cabinets look vintage and reflect a farm house kitchen, I even kept the old handles. To see more join me at Sweet Tea N' Salty Air!
