This was a project posted about a year ago! But it is a table top transformation!
Stared with a very small table! That we got a few months before. Had to cut open the old top to begin the transformation
Started by placing old fence slats that my husband planned In a diagonal pattern.
We started placing them down, wanted to make sure that we had enough before we cut to size. Plus look at how the pattern was going to look!
So, we got the pattern and the different tones of the wood just how we wanted them to look, So we started to glue and nail them down to make sure the were secured well!
once they were all scure, we started cutting down to the size we wanted!
Then we finished the sides with a nice border to give it a nice finished look!
Then, I painted the base of the table, I added the blue ultra dye I got from Hometalk to a white paint I had, it came out the perfect color I wanted!! Now to finish the chairs that go with my table!!
