I tried this and my results weren’t good. The cement flaked off of the fabric and they didn’t hold their shape. My mix: 2 parts Portland, 3 part sand, 2 parts water to get the consistency. Help please!

Cannot wait to try this. I have an old "Drop Cloth" that I am going to try this project on. It is a little heavier than a sheet and seems like it may hold up better. Will let you know the results!!!

what is the correct cement for this?

I mixed kind of watery and it did not take, flaked.

Then I mix a more solid and soaked it,let it sit for 10 minutes and still did not take, flaked.
