Update 80's forest green into a beautiful creamy antiqued mirror.
I bought this at a yard sale for $10 and hated the color but knew I could make if gorg!
I secured newspaper with some scotch tape over the mirrored part to protect it.
After a few coats of chalk paint. I noticed some nail holes so I patched those up and painted over them.
I then brushed on one coat of clear wax and then distressed with dark wax.
After the wax was buffed, I took the newspaper off and then used a razor blade to cut and remove the leftover newspaper stuck under the frame.
And there you have it!
Beautiful distressed mirror.

Did you spray the glass with something to get the mirror. Please answer. I'm trying to salvage my grandmothers mirror & answering this would help. Thank you
