Today I show you how to make a Quick & Easy DIY Marble contact paper serving tray.

You can use this beautiful tray to get some work done, or as a serving tray for yourself or a love one. Easy as 1, 2, 3!

For this project you're going to need: (1) 12 X 24 Melamine wood (Shelf Wood), (2) 11 1/2 X 11 1/2 Melamine Wood, Marble Laminate (Contact) Paper, Handles, Construction Liquid Nails, and Caulk gun.

Measure, and cut marble laminate paper.

Pull paper backing, and smooth out laminate paper on wood.

Cut excess paper on sides, and fold.

It should look something like this :)

Repeat process with 11 1/2 X 11 1/2 pieces, but make sure to leave one side of wood exposed.

As so...

Use a ruler to center handles on laminated wood, and mark spots with a pencil.

Make holes with a drill. I used a 1/4 size drill bit.

Screw on handles.

Apply liquid nails to exposed wood.

Place 12 X 24" wood on top.

Add Weight on top of tray, and let dry for 4-6hrs.

Enjoy!!!

Yes I just may try this....BUT how hard is it to remove? I know it’s not wallpaper but I live in a rental and don’t need anything difficult to remove. Is there any other tips to remove besides pulling up corner and remove...cause if it’s that simple I know I will do this!!!
