I wanted to make over my staircase since it was reallllyyyyy UGLY! Haha. I have no nice words for how the staircase looked before. I got the bug to redecorate since our entryway was the first thing you saw, but let me backtrack. The "entryway" is more of a landing on the top of our stairs cluttered with shoes and toys my kids regularly throws over the baby gate. It wasn't a good first impression so I decided to finally do something about it.

How ugly are these stairs???? I had to do something about this

I painted the baseboards and every other stairs with a special durable paint I tell you about on the actual blog post :) A neat trick to painting stairs is to differentiate between the dry and wet stairs. i used painters tape for this.

I cleaned up the sides with another trick/hack I discuss on the blog post.

When you're all done you should have amazing bright stairs like this!! Be sure to check out the full blog post here.

Why would you paint the risers white where daily shoe marks will scuff them all up in no time??? Nice look, but not sure how long that white part will remain white!!
