Oak Dining Room Set Makeover

by Abbe N
This is the before pic, the china cabinet was a $40 yard sale find. The table and chairs I have had for ten years and used to be my kitchen set.
I used Chalk Paint and Faux Effects Stain and Seal.
I also painted the room a light grey.

So where is a blog or instructions or anything about what you did to the furniture? Besides painting and distressing, you did some stenciling too. Did I miss something? Because it's exactly what I've been wanting to do to a table I built and have been afraid to tackle it. I made when I was in my 20's, so it's important to me. Thanks.
