So since many of you really loved my cap hanger featured in my recent closet makeover post, I decided to share it with you- so here's how I did it! It was a pretty simple project and (same as my closet reno) it was made from recovered material, this time pallets! Dimensions is up to up, I adjusted this one to our needs.
My hubby is a Philadelphia Eagles Big Fan so I engraved few eagles on this piece.
Here's the piece before any staining or embellishments. It's a pretty simple design, and works perfectly for what I need.
I used a lovely wood stain, looks dramatically different! I added two rows of hooks to hang the caps on!
Love how it came out!
THis is to hang caps, but you can of course make one to hang anything! (jewelry, scarves, even kitchen tools!)
I hung it in my walk in closet, it matches exactly, and is in it's right spot.
Here's where I engraved the eagle, love it! Hope you like this project as much as you loved my closet!
Suggested materials:
  • Pallets, screws, stain, polyurethane(mate)
  • Drill, sand paper.
