I just like chicken wire, what can I say, so when I say a chicken wire lamp project from Adrianne at Happy Hour Projects, I reeeallly wanted to make one, too.

Lamp shade wrapped with chicken wire.

I started out with a plain old jane old lamp/lamp shade.

I measured the lamp shade and then cut a piece a good 6" larger than needed.

I wrapped it around the lamp shade and secured with craft wire.

I trimmed off the excess.

And then I tucked the chicken wire to the inside of the lamp shade **** making sure to wear protective gloves for this part.

Chicken wire can be tricky to work with, but I was able to do this in an afternoon.

The same general technique could be used for a round style shade.

I like it!!

Where can I find the Old Jane Lamp Shade? I’ve a couple of tables and I need that type of a shade. Does it come in different width and length?
