Anthropologie Inspired Mirror

I made this Anthropologie inspired mirror and it was so easy and definitely cheaper than the real thing. There is a round frameless version and that’s what I was going to originally make, but my mirror had a scratch on it. Luckily I had another mirror I could use instead.

This is square mirror from Anthropologie that I used for my inspiration.

This is the mirror that I used.

I taped off the mirror and then used some small clear command clips where I wanted to attach the garland.

Hook the garland to the clips and use a hot glue gun to attach leaves and flowers along the garland.

When I was done with the leaves, flowers and garland, I used gold spray paint to cover the entire mirror.

When I was done with the leaves, flowers and garland, I used gold spray paint to cover the entire mirror.

Wait until the mirror is completely dry and then hang. I had every intention of adding the chain to the top, but didn’t end up getting that done.

Why would you spray paint the mirror, not just the frame?

I would like to see more of these mirrors.

Has anyone else done this? I don’t want to mess up my mirror. This does look like a possibly for my 6ft x 4ft mirror.

    Hi,

The leaves on your mirror are bigger than that small leaf pattern from Amazon.

Can you please tell me where you got the leaves and garland you used so I can get the same thing? I need that size for my mirror frame.

    Thank you!

You killed it. I would never know the difference.

Wow, looks fabulous! I like it better than the original too. I might paint the frame on the Audrey pic too. I have a few mirrors that could use this kind of update and I have a ton of silk flowers lying around taking up space. Thanks for the inspiration!
