Make this easy DIY mermaid backdrop using paper plates and foam core found at the dollar store. It cost around $5!
It all starts with paper plates. I bought these shiny, iridescent paper plates (perfect for a mermaid party!) at my local dollar store.
I wanted a bigger backdrop than the size of the foam core boards I bought at the dollar store, but they can easily be taped together to create a larger background base to decorate.
The plates are simply glued on the foam core background with a glue gun.
It makes the perfect photo booth backdrop.
Or a dessert table backdrop for a magical mermaid party.
