This is a super easy DIY project and it will only cost you three dollars!
You will need 2 of these signs from the Dollar Tree and a pack of nautical
rope. Also this is optional a pack of command hooks to hang the shelves, or you could just hang from a screw .
Next I painted the canvas with a chalk paint in the color white.
Next measure how long you want your rope to be and cut two pieces.
Here is what they look like after painted.
you can see here the paint crackled also after drying...
Now this rope is three pieces twisted together ,I simply untwisted one piece off each of the two pieces I cut. You will end up with 4 total pieces one single rope and two with two pieces twisted together.
Next use a scissor, pencil or screw driver to poke 4 holes. Two in the center and two behind that at both back corners...
Next pull rope through holes and tie a know at end of ropes this will hold the shelf while hanging.
Now you can hang your shelves and add some decor!

    did you use a crackling glaze on it before you painted it.
