I have a confession.
I am such a sucker for trays.
Trays and chairs. I hoard them like nothing else.
I just don't you can have too many good trays - they are great for not only serving, but to corral items on a coffee table, buffet, entry table, etc.
I picked this tray up at Goodwill for $3. It was wood, but covered with sunflower contact paper - not exactly my style.
After stripping the paper, I cleaned it, sanded a few rough spots, then painted it white. I taped off the inner edge and then painted the inside rectangle black and everything else coral.
After it dried, I gave it a coat of satin Mod-Podge to even out the sheens.
Its currently residing on my leopard print table on the screened-in porch - a fun pop of color for the summer!
