How to Reduce Laundry-monogram Towels

This is a step by step tutorial about how to monogram towels with your childrens initials, so they can be responsible for their own towels and hopefully reduce laundry. The tutorial uses an appliqué technique that can be used on it's own with no sewing required or the appliqué can be machine stitched to ensure long wearing monograms.
Pick out towels to monogram.
Print out your initial and trace the back side of the initial with a heat transfer pencil.
Iron the initial onto your fabric of choice and apply heat and bond to the back of the letter.
Cut out the letters, remove the heat and bond film from the back of the letters and iron them onto the towels to heat set(glue) them onto the towels. The last step to the process is to sew a satin stitch around the letters to ensure a long lasting hold.
Finally, enjoy the extra time in your schedule because you no longer have mounds of laundry to do because your children can find and use their towels more once.
