Learn how to create this elegant and sophisticated wall finish for any room in your house in 3 easy steps.

You’re going to be shocked at how easy and inexpensive this wall finish is to create.

Gerri was the winner who named this finish.

In Gerri’s words: “Capizo“ shells is what this luxe wall design reminds me of. 😲 it’s Stunning!

Capiz shells are shells that are found in a province in the Philippines called Capiz. A capiz shell, which is found on the coastal waters, is the outer shell of a marine mollusk.

This is a picture of the shell she named this finish after.

Crinkle up the tissue paper in a ball. You can get this at the Dollar Tree or any department store. It’s the same paper you wrap your Christmas gifts with.

Apply wallpaper paste to the wall with a roller. Make sure it has full coverage.

Unwrap the tissue paper and lay it on the wall. Them use a large brush to apply the tissue paper to the wall. Brush it in different directions.

I show you how to do this technique in this step-by-step video.

Here is a close up of the finish.

Look at how elegant this room is. It looks like something out of a magazine.

This is beautiful. How much tissue paper did you use? And what paint did you use for the metallic sheen?

hi Kathy. Sorry i'm just getting back with you. I was in Cancun on vacation. I can't remember how much tissue paper I used but my guess is about 4-5 pages. You can use the tissue paper from the Dollar tree. I used the modern masters metallic paint. But you can use anything you want. Here's a link to my blog https://www.subscribepage.com/diy-projects there is a blog that shows you how to do it.

      Have a blessed day
