Can I put scotch guard on my painted dropcloth curtains?

@Annie Green Simmons I'm not sure scotch guard would be a good idea. I used Never Wet by Rust Oleum to keep the moisture (and mold) off. I've never used scotch guard on outdoor items.

I made some and they do mildew I’ve washed them but it won’t come out but love the curtains.
