An easy to put together farmhouse style keychain holder.
This is an easy project to make out of whatever you have laying around. I made this out of left over louvers from bifold doors I tore apart! You could also use scrap wood, or even paint stir sticks, or large popsicle sticks!
I used a scrap board to hot glue the louvers onto. I put some extra hot glue in the overhanging cracks just for extra security.
I painted the whole thing with grey milk paint and lightly wet distressed with a rag then waxed it using my DIY furniture wax. I pre drilled holes using a rotary tool because the oak louvers were being stubborn but I do not think this would be necessary if you are using a softer wood.
I screwed in the label holders and cup hooks. I used alcohol ink to match the silver screws to the label holders. This is also unnecessary if you dont need to hide the screw color. Add hanging hardware on the back and you are DONEZIES! Come visit my blog to see how I made my DIY home made furniture wax, its cheap, easy and totally customizable!
