After going around in circles looking for new ornaments to decorate my family room tables and realizing glass decorated bottles were back in style (and expensive) I decided to give that project a try!!
I started saving our wine, champagne and rum bottles for this project and decided to start with 3 to decorate a table
I painted 2 of them with metallic silver spray paint and left one unpainted to cover it with lace
This is the spray and a champagne bottle
I applied glue on the bottle and on those areas placed the lace to cover parts of the champagne bottle with it and tied rope around it
I covered the other painted bottled with rope only from top to bottom leaving only the tip of the bottle exposed
I covered the unpainted bottle with glue then wrapped it in lace from top to bottom then tied rope with sea shells around it
This is the finished product!
Today the 3 bottles sit in a corner of my family room and they are the main attraction when we host our gatherings...
