DIY Natural Linen Spray - Non-Toxic

5 Minutes
Easy
There's nothing like having a stinky couch, rug, comforter or curtains that can't be washed. Plus, it could be contributing to allergies and asthma, making it harder to breath! You could douse it in some toxic Febreeze, but it is loaded with toxins that aren't safe for anyone to breathe, let only children or the elderly.
Thankfully, making your own linen spray is so easy to do at home, plus it does SO much more than removing odors! It also kills bacteria, mold, or mildew and can lift your mood with the power of essential oils!
The recipe is simple - just water and essential oils, with a dash of vodka or rubbing alcohol to help disperse the oils evenly in the water.

Here are my favorite essential oils to use in a linen spray - it smells SO good!
Vodka or rubbing alcohol really help to disperse the oils evenly throughout the solution.

Just so you know, there are many people selling "fake" essential oils. You want to get the real thing. Also, it is toxic to cats and can kill them.

For a quick clean of the sofa, recliner, mattress, etc. use dryer sheets.
