Homemade Firecracker Burlap Porch Decorations

We're continuing with our rustic Americana porch theme by sharing these fun flag Firecracker Decorations we made to go along with our flag burlap porch banners and our scrap-wood flag door "wreath." (Again with the help of our friends, Doug & Liz Latham from Hoosier Homemade!)
We're all set for the holiday - and we're showing all the steps you need to create your own firecracker decorations, so you can greet the holiday in style, too!

We're all set for the holiday - and we're showing all the steps you need to create your own firecracker decorations, so you can greet the holiday in style, too!
Decor
We think these firecracker decorations make such fun statement on our porch - nothing says the 4th of July like firecrackers!
They are inexpensive and so easy to make with basic materials like pvc pipe, rope, and salvaged lids that you just might want to create several sets for family and friends.
After cutting the pipe to your desired heights, it's simple to hot-glue an old sour cream lid, threaded with a piece of rope, to one end.
Then all that's left is to cut out and hot-glue your fabric to the pipe. Sure love hot glue, don't you?
To keep them upright, Dave made a simple stand for them out of scrap wood.
And they look great with all our other patriotic-colored porch decorations!
