With just a few simple steps and some basic materials, you can craft stunning centerpieces, wall hangings, and more to elevate your autumnal ambiance. From adorable pumpkins to elegant frames, these farmhouse-inspired projects are sure to add a warm touch to your home this season.


So, grab some chickenwire and get ready to craft!

1. Chicken wire centerpiece

Cutting chicken wire to size

Step 1: cut down

First, grab some chicken wire and cut it down to size.


Step 2: attach

Next, create a short fat tube. To attach the tube cut down some wire and twist it to secure.

Molding the chicken wire

Step 3: mold

After that, mold your shape. Pinch in the bottom and press down to round it out. Pinch in the top to a point (it should look like the above picture).


Step 4: spray paint

Next, add some spray paint!

You can make these in all shapes and sizes! Add some fairy lights or keep them plain. This pumpkin arrangement is the perfect centerpiece for your fall tablescape.


2. Fall wreath

Cutting the chicken wire

Step 1: cut down

First, grab some chicken wire and cut it down.


Step 2: roll & attach

Next, roll the chicken wire into a long skinny tube and attach it using wire.

Step 3: add pine cones

After that, add some pine cones, acorns, or other fall decor!


Step 4: cut off the excess

Next, wrap the tube around so it creates a circle & cut off the excess so it doesn't have any jagged edges.


Step 5: attach ends

After that, attach the ends using wire to finish off the circle.


Step 6: add burlap

Next, add an accent bow! I used burlap but you could use any ribbon you want!

3. Fall lantern

Removing the glass from the picture frames

Step 1: remove the glass

First, grab 4 dollar store frames and remove the glass.


Step 2: remove pegs

After that, clip off the pegs.


Step 3: cut to size

Next, cut the chicken wire to fit the frame.


Step 4: staple

After that, attach it to the frame using staples.


Step 5: trim & repeat

Next, trim any excess edges that are sticking out & repeat it on all 4 frames.

Step 6: hot glue

Following that, hot glue the frames together creating a box.


Step 7: spray paint

Next, spray paint them any color of your choosing, I also distressed mine using sandpaper.

4. Fall cornucopia

Molding the chicken wire

Step 1: cut down

First, cut down the chicken wire.


Step 2: twist

Next, create a cone shape by twisting the chicken wire.


Step 3: trim

Following that, trim off the top of the cone so it's a straight edge.

Collecting pumpkins and gourds

Step 4: add decor

After that - fill the cornucopia with some decor.

I chose to fill mine with faux pumpkins and gourds but the possibilities are endless.


5. Fall sign

Step 1: staple

First, staple some chicken wire to an old frame.


Step 2: trim

Next, trim off any jagged edges.


Step 3: measure

After that, measure the frame and create or purchase words that will fit inside it.


Step 4: attach

To attach your saying - cut down some wire and pinch it in so it looks like a staple. Twist it around the ends of the letters.

Step 5: add decor

Next, add some faux flowers, or other decor!
