This is Joel's garden in Roseville, MN. Here you can see the full design with fence posts at the end of the straw bale rows, wire for the trellis and a 2 X 4 between the posts for spacing.

i set mine up with the t stakes holding the 5 bales snug and i am letting them set over winter for spring planting. but i dont understand why or know how to attach the wood on the top. thank you for your advice.
