December is definitely one of my favorite months of the year (I simply love Christmas and the all of the holiday decorations) and I love making projects to decorate the house or to give as gifts; there’s nothing like handmade gifts to show how much you love someone.

These adorable gnomes are so easy to make and look amazing. For this DIY I’ve made my own paper cones but if you don’t have the time or don’t want to DIY then you can buy cones made of paper or foam. Patterns on my blog https://avantimorocha.com/diy-felted-gnomes/

Make a paper cone using the posterboard.

Transfer them to posterboard.

Cut the felt pieces.

Glue them to the cone.

Add a dab of glue to the dead space and pinch it. Cut the excess fabric.

Cut the hat.

Use the blanket stitch around the base of the cone and on the hat. Watch the video tutorial if you're not familiar with this stitch.

To make the beard you can use craft fur, cotton or yarn.

Glue the beard.

Glue the wooden button.

Finally glue the hat.
