Perfect project for those needing more counter/bench space in their kitchen and/or for those who needing space efficient furnishings

Retrieved this table from the side of the road.

Discarded table top and clean up frame.

Applied two coats of steel bonding matt black paint.

salvaged off cut of counter top.

Sanded off existing varnish and other imperfections.

Applied three coats of food safe matt finish varnish (oil based).

Reformatted and fixed legs to underside of table top.

Food prep station complete!

    Love the result, one question, how did you re-format the underside of the table? They don't cross in the center anymore, so I'm curious to know how you got it stable.

    It is not counter height is it? Could it be made taller somehow and still be stable?Thanks!
