Kitchen Re-do

This is my kitchen re-do! My husband did most of the work. But we work as a team. He does the building and tearing out and I do most of the painting and all the decorating :)
This is how the Kitchen looked after we moved in (I have a picture of how the kitchen looked before we moved in on my site- link in bio)
Since the appliances were in good condition and we didn't have money to spend on new ones, we just kept and used what we had.
Here's the after! My husband took down the soffet.(sp.?) Tore both walls of sheet rock down and did all the work by himself, except for the tile, he had some help from my dad. He customized the cabinets to fit into our kitchen. (they are the least expensive, un-painted cabinets from Home Depot) And he built the floating shelves into the wall. They are super sturdy and can hold quite a bit of weight. And the counter top is Butcher block.

This picture ^ and the one directly under it were taken at different times.
We like to have people over. And I come from a big family, so we needed something that would fit more people.
The table is the same. I scored the two chairs at goodwill for $2 each. I bought some spray paint made them blue. They're my favorite pieces in the kitchen.

And I don't have much space when you come into the house so I needed a shoe rack that would function as something decorative, wasn't messy looking and took as little space as possible. So I scouted pinterest, showed my husband "my great idea" and he made me this yellow shoe rack.
My husband built this bench and we just stapled material over foam and a particle board.

What is the color? Is it a white-white or off white?
