Searching for the perfect Christmas card can sometimes be overwhelming. Don't let it be! These simple Christmas card ideas are just what you need this holiday season. Below are 2 examples - a tree and a wreath!

Here's what you'll need:

Brown paper (or any color)

Old book pages

Colored paper / card stock

Glue

Ribbon

Markers

Scissors

First, the tree design.

Fold the brown paper in half to make your card.

Cut out a few book pages.

Tear the book pages different lengths from long to short. Be sure the edges are not straight - this gives it a textured look!

Glue the book pages to the brown paper in the shape of a Christmas tree.

Draw a star, cut it out, and glue it on the top of the tree.

And that's it - simple!

Card two. A wreath.

Start with the folded brown paper.

Cut out a bunch of squarish shapes of two different patterns.

Glue the squares in a circle on the card.

Cut a piece of ribbon and tie it in a bow (Target, dollar section).

Attach it to the top.

That's it - simple!

I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoyed making them for my loved ones. Homemade cards are always such a joy to receive this time of year!
