Sea Shell Flower Pot

I've always likd these flower pots covered in shells, but the prices are outrageous. I've been collecting shells since I was a child...so surely, I have enough to make my own.
Homemade shell flower pot in mostly shades of white.
I sorted my shells, mostly white, by type.
With Gorilla Glue White, I glued a row of cockle shells around the rim of a terracotta flower pot.........just slightly overlaping.
Because the glue starts so thin, I use blue painters tape to hold the shells on. I have to wait for the glue to completely dry before moving to the next side. This takes a few hours.
Here's my finished terracotta pot with shells completely covering it.
I bought "Alabaster" grout from the home improvement store, and fllled the corner of a plastic bag with it. I twist the end tight and cut the point of the bag off with scissors to make a "piping bag".
Then I pipe my grout into the empty spaces between the shells.
Before the grout dries, I use a damp sponge to wipe away the excess and smooth out the grout surface. I want to make sure enough of the shells are poking through.
I had to wait about 24 hours for the grout to completely cure before I planed a pot in it......
