Join Hometalk’s DIYer Channing, as she shows you how to go from ordinary to extraordinary - holiday style. She’ll be decorating her Texas home for Christmas and bringing you along for every DIY, showing you how to turn everyday items into easy holiday decor. These budget friendly hacks will save you money on decor so you can spend it on gifts to put under your perfectly trimmed tree.

In today's episode, Channing is finishing up her porch and getting started on creating a stunning, magazine-worthy tablescape to impress her Christmas guests. Get some inspirations and ideas for your own fun and festive table right here!

Here's her table before she started adding any Christmas cheer. Sad and empty...but not for long...

After spraying glass plates with vinegar, Channing gave them this cool mercury glass look. Check out her exact technique in the video above.

Channing had a few tricks up her sleeve for adding a little height and texture to her holiday table.

Instead of buying or making a table runner out of fabric, Channing cut a few tree clippings and laid them down the center of her table. The result looked (and smelled) fantastic!

And here's the finished look! Bright, merry, and definitely ready to impress Christmas guests. Check out the full how-to in the video above!
