Dollar Store Easter Decor

Even though there is still snow on the ground and we aren't as close to spring as I'd like, I couldn't resist putting together an Easter-themed tutorial for you guys. Dollar stores are really starting to shift into spring mode, which means I got first dibs on some of their fresh stock.

For this post, I decided to demonstrate how to create a gorgeous, seasonally-inspired look using inexpensive purchases.

I started by lining my glass vessels with the crafting moss. I made sure the green side of each chunk was facing out, and I used my fingers to gently spread it around.

The fishbowl used up about half of one bag of moss, and the taller vase took the other half, as well as the entire second bag.

After a bit of squishing and rearranging, I moved on to the wire bouquet collar, which I used to create my nest.

Using my hands, I gently shaped the wire until I was happy with the way it looked. I then placed three colourful Easter eggs inside.

The only thing left to do was to place the egg-filled nests inside each glass container, on top of their mossy beds.

There you have it! Gorgeous, Easter-inspired decor that cost next-to-nothing to make.

And if you're wondering where the rest of my decor is from, you'll be happy to know that most of it is either DIYed or from the dollar store!
