Mixing the Old, With the New

Spring has always been my favorite season - everything is new. I like to mix my love of antiques with my flower beds, old and new.
The past couple of years, I've added a few gnome and fairy garden areas...just to add interest.
The white Annabelle Hydrangea is a start from my Great Grandmother's plant from over 100 years ago. I also have a concrete garden duck that was hers.
My son has picked up items (the dump truck) at auctions for me.
The slate sign on the old wheelbarrow, is from a dear cyber friend.
Some of my decorations have sentimental value - this red pump was my Dad's.
The park bench is from a dear friend of my husbands.
The Easter lily was a gift from my 93 yr old Mom 2 years ago.

You have such a talent for creating one of the most beautiful and unique flower gardens I've seen in a long time! Love all your cute little decorations and like you I too have things that bring wonderful memories of my friends and loved ones flooding back to me each time I see them. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful gardens with us!
