I have a soft spot for pig stuff because my daughter used to be obsessed with pigs. Her obsessions have evolved, but I still find pig stuff everywhere, especially at the thrift store.

This is the 3rd pig cutting board that I have found and it's adorable. But it's way too small to be useful. So I decided to make it useful and turn it into a key holder since we don't have one.

Cutting boards can be found easily at the thrift store. If you find one in bad shape, it can be sanded and oiled with mineral oil.

Luckily my pig was in great shape.

Flip it over and find the center with a ruler. Mark the spot.

Drill a pilot hole a bit smaller than your screw. Cutting boards are hard, so it's pretty crucial to drill pilot holes!

Attach a D-ring with a screw. I love D-rings because they're so much easier to install than typical picture hangers.

Flip it over and figure out where to place your hook. Mark the holes. You'll need to drill pilot holes again.

Screw the hook in place.

Hang your key holder and enjoy! No more lost keys. Plus, you have the most unique key holder around.
