Headboard Bench

I picked up this antique headboard from a garage sale for $7.00! The footboard was broken but I used it for the "arms". The seller said he bought it in Mexico years ago. I had a vision for this piece! With some help from my husband, look what it became!
It was dirty! I gave it a good cleaning.
We built a frame using pine.
I painted it and used a stain to bring out the details.
