DIY Hand-Stamped Herringbone Accent Wall
We had a small nook in one of our rooms that needed a little pizazz. After finding a photo of wallpaper that we loved (and seeing the price-ouch!), we decided we could easily recreate that look for much less!

So, here is the before. We taped off the ceiling and side walls to prevent paint overreach.
We measured and marked on the wall where we wanted our vertical lines to go, then drew them on faintly with a pencil and large level. Then, we painted the vertical lines with a small paintbrush. You could also stamp them on (see the video).
Once the lines were dry, we taped off the first set of sections to be stamped. We used a cheap piece of scrap cardboard to make our stamp.
After dipping the cardboard in paint, we began to place the stamps on the wall. You will want to remove tape before the paint is dry. When your first set of stamps is fully dry, tape off the remaining sections and apply stamp.
We love the way in turned out and it makes such a difference in our room! We love how affordable and fast this project is!
