DIY Hanging Basket

I have the easiest hanging basket tutorial for you guys. I have been giving one of our bathrooms a refresh and wanted something new for the walls. I had these little metal baskets that I found at Walmart... they were on sale 2 for $1! I decided to turn them into hanging baskets and I'm so glad I did. It was so easy and they are so cute. I actually had a friend a use that bathroom later that day and ask me where I bought my hanging baskets...

I knew I wasn't going to be hanging anything heavy in my baskets, but if you want to, you should use twine or something stronger than yarn. I used yarn to hang my baskets and it's definitely strong enough for what I need them for.

Decide how long you want your basket to hang. Cut your yarn to length and add a piece to each corner. You'll want the front pieces to be slightly longer than the back pieces so the basket hangs nicely when it's against the wall.

Pull all the yarn pieces up and tie together in a knot.

Hang on the wall.

Fill with pretty stuff!

Fill with fun decorations or supplies.
