5) Pop of Color Kitchen Makeover

How do you makeover a kitchen in a rental home or apartment? Easy! Add items that are beautiful but also temporary. In the basic white apartment kitchen, a white wall was transformed into a beautiful blue with the aid of temporary wallpaper. A backsplash was also added with the aid of fabric and glass paneling added in front to help with easy clean up. A few choice decorations are also added to bring out that pop of color on the walls to make this space inviting and amazing. All of these installs are also super easy to remove when you have to move out of your space!

6)  Coastal Kitchen Makeover

A home along the coast needs a coastal kitchen, and a few steps are all it takes to make over an orange and brown kitchen into something that is easy, breezy, and perfect for the beach. This DIY kitchen makeover started off with painting the cabinets white and adding in new moldings on top to make them fill the space better, and as little something extra what makes for a wonderful complete look to the space. A mint subway tile was added as a backsplash to bring in the easy beach vibe and it matches perfectly with the floor mat and curtains to help bring in that pop of color with all the white of the cabinets.

7) Condo Kitchen Makeover

Have a small kitchen that needs a makeover? The first step in this small kitchen makeover was painting the cabinets white. This brought in the light, giving the room a bigger feel and making it more inviting. The kitchen makeover was done before the owner moved in, so when she had the walls in the condo painted, she also had the same person paint the cabinets and install the subway tile for the backsplash. Super smart idea to have one person do all that work before you even move in! Next it was time to replace the countertops. Sometimes you can get a really great deal on granite, so check around! A few other small items were added to bring extra space into this small kitchen. A rolling cart was added at the end of a countertop to fit a mixer, such a smart idea for saving already limited countertop space in a small kitchen. A wire rack was also placed on a wall to house mugs and utensils, a great way to add some pretty decor that is also very functional!

8) Small Kitchen Makeover on a Budget

A kitchen makeover does not need to be done in one weekend, it can be done over a couple of years as the budget allows. Paint is inexpensive and can really make a whole room look different. This kitchen uses a bold grey on the cabinets. Added silver handles bring the whole look together. The walls were painted a soft beige. A painted tree branch with birds added a wonderful focal point to the room. New butcher block countertops with a subway tile backsplash, and the addition of new appliances, helped complete this whole kitchen makeover.
