This paper flower bouquet is a fun project you can do together that would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift from the kids. So grab your Cricut and let’s get started!

With a few sheets of patterned paper and some fun photos of the kids you can create this paper flower bouquet that would not only be a wonderful Mother’s Day gift, but would also be a fun teacher thank you, grandparents day gift, or just an easy project for your own kitchen table!

Here are the supplies you will need:

  • Cricut machine (I used a Maker but this can also be cut with an Explore Air)
  • Xyron Mega Runner
  • 1.25″ punch
  • assorted patterned papers
  • mini cupcake liners
  • paper straws
  • tape

Step 1: Cut flowers with your Cricut from a variety of papers. Don’t have a Cricut? You can download free images online and cut them out with scissors.

Step 2: Punch out faces from photos.

Step 3: Apply adhesive to the back of the faces and adhere to the center of the mini cupcake liners.

Step 4: Apply adhesive to center of flower die cuts and adhere mini cupcake liners.

Step 5. Press one end of paper straw until it is flat, then tape it to the back of the flower.

Step 6: TIP: want to give your flowers a little more dimension? Curl the edges of the flowers and “smoosh” the cupcake liners as you assemble them.

And voila! Once you like the look of your flowers, you are ready to give them away or add them to a jar!
