How to Make Easter Bunny Treat Bags

Easy

Upcycle brown paper bags into these adorable Easter bunny treat bags. Perfect for giving out homemade goodies at a child's Easter party, or just to give to someone special.

Start out by marking and cutting the ears for the bunny. Next I gave the two bags a good ironing to stiffen them up so that the ears would stand up and not be droopy. If you started with new bags you could skip the ironing, I was using what I hand on hand.

Next I aged a coffee filter with coffee granules for making the bunny's tail.

Once the filter was completely dry I cut it into a spiral and started twisting and forming the tail. Using hot glue to hold the twisted spiral in place.

Then I glued the tails on the lower center of the bags. Added a little hot glue to the ears to keep them together.

Now add your homemade goodie to the bags. Lightly tie some twine around the top just beneath the ears, and add a flower sprig. This Easter bunny treat bag didn't cost me a thing. I already had everything on hand.
