I cleared out my office which was filled with items which had begun to look tired, unloved, and dull and I came across this planter pot which had a lovely workable surface that I knew would be perfect for a project.

I thought it would be a great practice piece for my new acrylic paint pens! Take a look at what I did-

Planter needing prettying up

I decide to do some small, easy strokes and lines and use cheerful colours that show up nice and vibrant against the matte, grey surface.

Adding lines dots and pattern to pot

I started off just experimenting, and I continued creating a tribal design. This was so therapeutic to do too! 😀

I decided as it will be used outdoors to weatherproof it with a sealant on surface. I use some modpodge.

Applying sealant to surface

I am thrilled with the final transformation and feel it really zings and compliments the Yucca plant!
