How to Create a Tribal Look Planter With Paint Pens
I cleared out my office which was filled with items which had begun to look tired, unloved, and dull and I came across this planter pot which had a lovely workable surface that I knew would be perfect for a project.
I thought it would be a great practice piece for my new acrylic paint pens! Take a look at what I did-
I decide to do some small, easy strokes and lines and use cheerful colours that show up nice and vibrant against the matte, grey surface.
I started off just experimenting, and I continued creating a tribal design. This was so therapeutic to do too! 😀
I decided as it will be used outdoors to weatherproof it with a sealant on surface. I use some modpodge.
I am thrilled with the final transformation and feel it really zings and compliments the Yucca plant!
The finished pot in my garden.
How lovely it looks! I hope you like this as well, and hope you give something like this a try yourself. Check out more projects on my Instagram page linked below.
