With our schedules changing from the relaxed summer fun to hectic school activities and rushed mornings, it is the most important time of year to get our houses organized to make this transition go more smoothly. School lunches and afternoon snacks mean having easy grab and go foods at hand necessary. But how do we keep it all together and organized so we always have what we need?
My pantry was in desperate need of some reorganizing so that I could get a good inventory for cooking up some savory fall and winter recipes. I like to stay stocked up so I do not have to take any extra trips to the grocery store. Having everything I need on hand makes cooking more fun. Snacks need to be on hand and easy to grab and go. A cluttered pantry means having too much of some things and not enough of others. A good inventory means always knowing what you have so that you can whip up a delicious meal without all the fuss. It just makes life easier.
These fun and bright colored baskets are the perfect solution. They fit nicely on the shelves and allow me to tame the clutter and keep everything neat and organized. The baskets corral like items together and are easy to grab off the shelves and put away when I am finished. A cohesive tidy look is what I want.
Taking everything out allows me to see what I have and group like items together. There are many extra items that I will not need to purchase. These extras can go in the back or up high since they will only be needed on occasion. With the shelves empty and inventory taken. I can now organize the items on the empty shelves.
Cans lined up neatly are easy to see. Baskets with snacks are easy to grab and go. extra items stored in the back and up high mean everything that is needed on a regular basis is at where it can be easily reached. Bulky items like pet food and bottled water can be stored on the floor, bottles of oils and syrups can be stored on a lazy susan making it easy to access quickly. Labels on the baskets clearly mark what they store. All of this makes cooking and shopping so easy.
