How To Make A Window and Moss Wreath

We've all seen so many posts about repurposing old windows as home decor. Well, I decided to build my own farmhouse style window frame. Check out how easy it was.

First thing you should do is have the hardware store cut your 1x1” into 24” lengths. There should be 6 of them.

I then stained them all grey.

I then laid it out in the formation I wanted.

And then I nailed all them into place!

You'll want the middle piece to fit super snugly, so first lay it over the frame, and then mark and cut it.

That's it! Window frame complete.

I then dry brushed white on edges, to give it a nice soft look.

After that I sanded it down a bit to distress it.

Next, I purchased this green ring and moss at the dollar store. Time to make a wreath for the window frame.

I then hot glued all over the wreath, and started applying the moss.

Then I laid the moss wreath in middle of window. I used some ribbon to attach the wreath to the window.

Here it is done! I think next time I’d make a larger wreath with the window 24x24.” I think it turned out great, but a larger wreath would make it perfect! Thanks for stopping by.
