Hey All! We recently put together this beautiful live edge entry table. It's made from pure Florida pecan hard wood. We chose this slab that we really loved. It's unique shape and hue made us fall in love. We'll pair it with metal hair pin legs. Here's how we did it.

First, we sanded it down, and cleaned it up. We filled some of the holes with ecopoxy which we bought on Amazon. We tinted it with a bit of aqua blue for a splash of color.

We added on these pieces to give the table some depth.

Here they are seamlessly attached.

The next step was to seal the wood. We used odie's oil. It's stain resistant and it really makes the wood grain pop!

Tim to attach the hair pin legs!

We nailed them in securely.

And here it is, all finished, and looking beautiful.

The perfect piece for our entryway.

Hope you guy like, and maybe even give something like this a try yourself. If you like what we do, check out more of our stuff on our Instagram page. Link below!

Beautiful! We have a raw slab I'd like to do this with. I'm confused about where you added the pieces to give it more depth. Are they attached to the back of the slab or underneath. I think because they also have the blue coloring it confuses me (not hard to do) Thanks!
