You can easily add some whimsy to your indoor and/or outdoor space with these hanging moss orb lanterns. I hit the jackpot when I found this moss ribbon at a craft store for 90% off. I've had several different projects in the works using this ribbon, but this has to be my favorite.

Grab some of this moss ribbon from your local craft store.

Decide how big you want your lanterns to be and cut the ribbon to length. I cut the ribbon in half because I wanted thinner lines. I used two of these pieces for each orb.

Use your hot glue gun to glue the ends of the ribbon together, creating a hoop.

Create a second hoop and glue around the first.

Start wrapping twine around the top and secure with a drop of hot glue.

Cut a piece of ribbon big enough to fit around the led. Glue the ends together.

Add glue to the bottom and attach to the inside of the lantern.

Now you can add your LED.

Hang your orb lanterns alone or group them together to create a hanging lantern chandelier.

Hang these in bushes, from trees, on a porch or a fence for evening party decorations! They are could also be used for weddings... yes, they are that pretty!

These even look great sitting on a table for a summer dinner or party centerpieces.

These are really great! Love how they add the whimsy without pulling your look to far from nature. Brilliant!
