Get festive for the Fourth of July with this easy and inexpensive Red, White and Blue Centerpiece.

Are you looking for beautiful and DIY 4th of July decor? This patriotic centerpiece is so inexpensive—you can find everything at The Dollar Store! Plus, it is a kid friendly project to do with the family.

Materials

1-2 bags of sand in red, white and blue

3 glass containers

3 flawless voltive candles

First, I recommend you take this project outdoors! It makes clean up so easy.

Then, start by pouring alternating layers of sand into each container.

Gently shake the container in between each layer to even out the sand.

Now decide on what color you want to end with on top of the container. I wanted each container to have a different top layer, so I made sure to start with a different color on the bottom. Have fun with layering. You do not have to have even sand layers.

Now, add a flame less candle and you are all done!! I decided to use frameless candles instead of wick candles for safety. (Especially around kids!) This entire centerpiece project was less than $10!
