I suppose if you don’t drink soda/coke and can afford to flush it then great! They do sell it at the dollar stores for a dollar I think?

I for one drink Mexican coke no fructose corn syrup made the ole fashioned way.

It cost 1.36 a glass bottle and I would never flush mine down the hole. That’s just me! 😳

I use Dawn also, but do not leave it overnight. Use a toilet brush and the bowl is sparkling in a minute or two. Dawn for dishes doesn't harm the bacteria in the septic system; Coke may do so. I think I'll pass on using Coke in the toilet but I do drink it. Coke will help soothe an upset stomach, esp. if vomiting occurs. It also helps when there is a buildup of phlegm in the throat. I'm not a coffee drinker so the caffeine in Coke helps me during the day if I am lagging. We all have our "thing" and Coke is mine. I've been drinking since I was 14; I'm 71 now.

Try polident. I put several tabs in the bowl and let it set for a couple of hours. The calcium chipped right off.
