Concrete Pumpkin Vase
Chances are, you've seen a concrete pumpkin tutorial or two. You may have even made one. But this tutorial takes the project one step further and takes your pumpkin from not only Fall decor, but also gives it double duty as a vase. Best of all, this pumpkin won't rot and can be used for years to come. And, there's no carving involved!
Here's what you'll need...
Fast drying concrete
Bucket For Mixing Concrete
Hand Shovel
Plastic Pumpkin Bucket
Pam Cooking Spray
Glass Jar
Utility Knife
Twine
E6000 Glue
Spray the inside of the plastic pumpkin with Pam.
Mix concrete according to the package directions.
While the concrete is still wet, insert a jar, leaving about 2 inches of the jar above the pumpkin. Set aside to dry overnight.
Use a utility knife to cut away the plastic pumpkin.
Add E6000 to the exposed jar and wrap with twine to create a pumpkin stem.
Fill your vase with real or faux flowers.
Once Halloween has past, turn the jack-o-lanterns face around and your pumpkin vase will be a beautiful addition to your Fall decor all the way through Thanksgiving!

Very clever. Love it. Also if you don't want the jack face just sand it until it even with the rest of the pumpkin. Just a lovely easy craft that speaks autumn.
