Today's tutorial is about some beautiful candy magnets made of foamy sheets and that you can give it many uses. These candy magnets can be used to leave notes in the refrigerator but you can also take advantage of them by using them to decorate birthday parties with sweets, you can create a nice garland, you can even place them inside glass jars just to decorate the candy table, decorate gifts, well you can give many uses to these candies. In this tutorial we will be using them as magnets for the refrigerator.

Start by cutting a strip of about 3/4 ". With the help of the skewer, mark on the foamy sheet and then cut.

Cut a second strip of the color you choose to combine with the first strip you cut.

Place one strip on the other leaving a visible space on the top, because that is the part that we are going to stick to start creating the spiral.

Apply glue to the strip that is lower and stick it with the other in position.

Then apply glue to the part that is left over (pink) and turn towards the yellow part to start the first part of the spiral that is the center of the candy.

Start rolling it up and try to keep it tight enough so that it doesn’t tend to open in the center. When you finish rolling it you will notice that there is a longer piece (yellow), you will cut it a little lower than the size of the other strip (pink)

Apply glue on both stripes and glue them together to close.

Already have the center of the candy, now we are going to work the two sides that are going to be the wrapping. To do this we are going to cut two pieces of foamy the size of 1 1/4 “

Place a dot glue in the center of the foamy square and fold so they stick in that area.

Now you are going to stick both pieces to the candy, cut the tip a bit to eliminate any excess of glue and remain smoother when joining the candy.

Now cut a few strips to use as a wrapper closure. Glue first the end of the strip on the back of the wrap and then measure how far you manage to close it, cut and glue it.

Then place the magnet …. and VOILÁ !!!! If you liked these candy magnets I invite you to take a look to the flowers I made with this same material (foamy sheet)

And this is how these candy magnets ended up!!!

I agree with Nicki (above comment) - the first word that sprung to mind was "adorable"!

What a brilliant idea and the tutorial was really well done and easy to follow.

Definitely having a bash at these little "treats"
